As a reformed deviant, I hereby promise to illustrate my personality to the best of my ability, using no sarcasm or fabrication whatsoever! (Disclaimer: By "reformed", I in no way mean to imply that I am cured of deviance. I only mean that I have learned to tame that behavior over the years to a tolerable level!) Now then, I am generally referred to as feisty and somewhat intimidating at times, (although I haven't any idea what they're talking about) In describing myself, I would have to say that I am a person who knows what I want and need and I refuse to settle for less. I can be silly, outgoing, and easy going. Family is VERY important to me (this includes my kitties) I'm almost always smiling or giggling. I love to laugh, and there's nothing better than seeing and hearing a loved one laugh. I usually behave and look like a lady, but under the make-up and table manners I am actually a fearless tomboy, craving adventure and discovery. (I am convincingly sophisticated when appropriate but when I can let loose you'll find me reeling in a fish, stomping through the woods in hiker boots, yelling at a ballgame, floating half nekkid down the river, and of course, talking to cats. (I haven't a clue what I'm saying but they seem to understand nonetheless) Like most people that I come into contact with, you'll think I am warm, kind, sweet, and generous (and perhaps I am most of the time) However, try to take advantage of my gentle and loving nature and/or misconstrue it as weakness or naivety and you will soon be witness to the "Hell-Kat" side of my Nature as it rears it's deadly head. Admittingly, I am also a bit of a dork....I love to challenge my mind (and yours too) and I won't hesitate looking up anything to satisfy my curiosity. I've been told that I am "deep" and I would have to agree with that statement. I've also been told that I'm a bit "out there" but hey, there is a fine line between genious and insanity---right??!! That's what I've always heard. Being who I am, I have to believe the statement! HA! Honesty and Respect are very important to me. If I find out that I cannot trust you on the "small things" then I'm positive that I can not trust you on any of the bigger things either. In which case, we won't get very far together. Umm, let's see, what else---My nickname is Kitty and most variations thereof but my birth name begins with a D and ends with an N! (A little riddle for ya!) If someone calls and asks for me by my birth name, I wonder what bill collecting company is calling and how I can dodge the call. LOL! (Sad but true) Ok, anyway, I'm a bit of a country girl. I grew up partying on the river, driving back roads, and smoking dope around the bonfire. I still enjoy a good "puff" now and then but I rarely come into the opportunity. I do not drink alcohol at all but I haven't any kind of issue with those who choose to do so---provided of course, that they do not become a complete ass when indulging! When I'm missing you can usually find me exploring the dark crevices in my head. It's a bad, bad neighborhood and I really should never go there alone. It's like Jane wandering into the hood without Dick and Spot. By nature I am calm, but when I'm happy I jump up and down and clap my hands like a total goofball. When I'm out of my mind with joy I do my best impersonation of Daffy Duck in the "Hassan Chop" cartoon where he says, "It's mine! It's mine! It's all mine!" Followed by, "Woo Hoo, Woo Hoo, Woo Hoo" You'll want to get out of my way at this point as I'm close to wetting myself. Saying the word "goofy" is not beneath me. Oft times when it's necessary for me to be with intellectuals at Bird Shows or Nature Conventions, I find myself incapable of saying anything more than "Kewl", "Ewww" or "Neato". Yeah, there goes my hope of proving that I really am articulate!
